With your permission, we will collect your name and email address for the purpose of sending you our newsletter by email. This may contain information about our services, products, store and other updates. If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you or to send you further information.

Members of our organisation

Website Administrators and Shop Managers can access order information and customer information such as your name, email address, and billing and shipping information. Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.

With our service providers

We may share your personal data with service providers that perform services on our behalf, including administrative, information technology, website and platform hosting, editing, production, payment, business management, analytics, content management, indexing, archiving, lead generation, and marketing services. Credit Card Details

All credit card payments are processed securely through a third-party payment processors. Credit card payments are not processed directly by Business Ingeniares (BI) Ltd. We do not store any credit card information on our servers.  When you choose to make a payment by credit card, payment processors handle all steps in the payment process through their systems, including data collection and data processing.  

Our current payment processors are:

  • WiPay (https://wipaycaribbean.com) is a payment facilitator that will process your credit card payments online, through the services of WiPay (Barbados) Ltd. When you use the services of WiPay, you agree to the Privacy & Terms of WiPay Barbados, and you agree to share your personal data with them for the purpose of collecting payment from you on behalf of Business Ingeniares (BI) Ltd.
  • PayPal (https://paypal.com) is a payment facilitator that will process your credit/debit card payments online, through a payment gateway managed by PayPal. When you use the services of PayPal, you agree to the terms and policies of PayPal set out by PayPal, and you agree to share your personal data with them for the purpose of collecting payment from you on behalf of Business Ingeniares (BI) Ltd.

Comments & Reviews

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. When visitors leave comments or reviews, we collect the data shown in the comment or review form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it.

After approval of your comment, your profile picture may be visible to the public in the context of your comment.

How long we retain your data

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to carry out the purposes described above and for any additional period that may be required by law.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data
