Collection of Personal Information

  • Comments and reviews that you provide through our website;
  • Communication preferences;
  • Purchase and search history;
  • Location-aware services, the physical location of your device in order to provide you with more relevant content for your location;

You will be required to provide personal information in order to place orders via our site, in order that we may successfully process and fulfil your order. You also provide personal information if you decide to create an account with our store. By providing this information you consent to the collection and use of this information for the purpose of purchasing products and services, maintaining your account. Required information may include your name, e-mail address, telephone number, billing address, shipping address and credit card details if paying by credit card.

When you leave a comment on our site, or leave a review about a product or purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. 

Your computer’s IP address is automatically received when you browse our site or store.

In order to access certain content and to make use of additional functionality and features of our websites and services, we may ask you to register for an account by completing and submitting a registration form, which may request additional information. If you choose to register and sign in by using a third-party account (such as your Google account), the authentication of your login is handled by the third party, and any personal information collected during that third-party login is not covered by this policy. Business Ingeniares (BI) Ltd will collect your name, email address and any other information about your third-party account that you agree to share with us at the time you give permission for your account to be linked to your third-party account.

With your permission, we will collect your name and email address for the purpose of sending you our newsletter by email. This may contain information about our services, products, store and other updates. If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you or to send you further information.

We may share your personal data as follows:

Members of our organisation

Website Administrators and Shop Managers can access order information and customer information such as your name, email address, and billing and shipping information. Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.

With our service providers

We may share your personal data with service providers that perform services on our behalf, including administrative, information technology, website and platform hosting, editing, production, payment, business management, analytics, content management, indexing, archiving, lead generation, and marketing services. Before we share your personal data with any service provider, they must agree to comply with applicable laws, maintain strong data security, and only process personal data as we instruct.

With partner organizations

We may share your personal data with certain partners, including:

  • Where a third party has provided you with access to a product or service, such as through an integration or access code or by other means. We may share information regarding your usage of the product or service, results of assessments taken, and other information you input into the product or service;

  • If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

By using this site, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age, or you have received the consent of your parent or legal guardians to use this site. 

Credit Card Details

All credit card payments are processed securely through a third-party payment processors. Credit card payments are not processed directly by Business Ingeniares (BI) Ltd. We do not store any credit card information on our servers.  When you choose to make a payment by credit card, payment processors handle all steps in the payment process through their systems, including data collection and data processing.  

Our current payment processors are:

  • WiPay ( is a payment facilitator that will process your credit card payments online, through the services of WiPay (Barbados) Ltd. When you use the services of WiPay, you agree to the Privacy & Terms of WiPay Barbados, and you agree to share your personal data with them for the purpose of collecting payment from you on behalf of Business Ingeniares (BI) Ltd.
  • PayPal ( is a payment facilitator that will process your credit/debit card payments online, through a payment gateway managed by PayPal. When you use the services of PayPal, you agree to the terms and policies of PayPal set out by PayPal, and you agree to share your personal data with them for the purpose of collecting payment from you on behalf of Business Ingeniares (BI) Ltd.

Comments & Reviews

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. When visitors leave comments or reviews, we collect the data shown in the comment or review form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it.

After approval of your comment, your profile picture may be visible to the public in the context of your comment.


As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically. This information may include IP addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (“ISP”), referring/exit pages, the files viewed on our site (e.g., HTML pages, graphics, etc.), operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data to analyze trends in the aggregate and administer the site. 

We use cookies for website analytics, administer the website, track users’ movements around the website. You can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level, but if you choose to disable cookies, it may limit your use of certain features or functions on our website or services. 

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

How long we retain your data

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to carry out the purposes described above and for any additional period that may be required by law.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
